Since 1997 the IRAA has been an international registry that allows artists and their representatives to have direct control over establishing a record of the artist's life of work. The IRAA Web site serves as the central interface for searching all IRAA records of artists and artwork, making the data universally accessible through this unbiased registry. Currently there are more than 37,000 artist records in the IRAA. We are completing research on 60,000 additional artists, including issuing their Artist IRAA Numbers and establishing their records. We offer a simple accreditation process for artists and their representatives through our established identification numbering system and method of registration. All registered artists and each of their registered artworks are uniquely identified by this alphanumeric system. Why join the IRAA?
